Vismara Comfort Home Cinema Chair
The Comfort is the entry point into Vismara Design's cinema seating range — the most essential of the family, stripped of decorative flourishes so that the engineering and the sit do the talking. If Onassis is the architectural statement and Chest is the heritage piece, Comfort is the quietly excellent one. The kind of chair you stop noticing because there's nothing about it that pulls focus away from the screen.
The brief
- Restraint: a deliberately clean silhouette with no decorative woodwork or signature detailing — a chair designed to disappear into a well-considered cinema room.
- Comfort first: the seat shape, lumbar curve, and recline geometry are tuned for long-form viewing without fatigue.
- Refined details: thick contrast stitching on the seat and backrest is the only ornament — a subtle nod to bespoke craft.
