Returns & Refund Policy

VisionSounds is committed to your satisfaction. Our returns and refund policy is designed in line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), Act 68 of 2008 of South Africa.

Return Window

You may return most items within 7 days of receipt for a refund or exchange, provided the product is:

  • In its original, unused condition with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
  • Not damaged due to misuse, negligence, or physical damage caused after delivery.
  • Accompanied by your original order number or proof of purchase.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items that have been used, opened, or activated.
  • Software, memory cards, or digital products that have been opened or used.
  • Custom or special-order items.
  • Items damaged due to user error or misuse.

Faulty or Defective Products

If your product arrives faulty or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund at no cost to you, in accordance with the CPA.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us via our Contact page with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We will provide a return authorisation number and return instructions within 1–2 business days.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
  4. Ship the item back to us using a trackable courier service.
  5. Once received and inspected, your refund or exchange will be processed within 5–7 business days.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Faulty or incorrect items: VisionSounds covers the return shipping cost.
  • Change of mind returns: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Refund Method

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase. EFT refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of return approval. Please note that bank processing times may vary.

Warranty Claims

Warranty support depends on the product, brand and applicable supplier or manufacturer terms. VisionSounds will assist with guidance where possible. Contact us for guidance.
