Ibanez AAD50CE-LG Advanced Acoustic Electric Guitar
A Stellar Solid-top Cutaway Dreadnought
The Ibanez AAD50CE is a stellar cutaway dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar with loads of stage- and studio-ready appointments. Teeming with toneful projection, the AAD50CE’s solid Sitka spruce top yields a commanding tone that’s accented perfectly by its balanced-sounding sapele back and sides. You also get X-M bracing for added clarity, crispness, and warmth, plus AEQ-TP2 electronics for top-notch plugged-in tone. You’ll appreciate the easy playability of the AAD50CE’s okoume neck and purpleheart fingerboard, and its chrome die-cast 18:1-gear-ratio tuners ensure rock-solid intonation that you can count on. For a reliable acoustic-electric guitar that won’t drain your wallet, look no further than the Ibanez AAD50CE.
Spruce top gives your guitar punch and projection
Thanks to its powerful, muscular tone, spruce is the classic top wood choice for big-bodied dreadnoughts. That’s why Ibanez chose Sitka spruce for the AAD50CE’s top. This solid-wood soundboard yields you a direct, punchy tone that commands attention. Spruce also exhibits near-endless headroom — no matter how hard you strum your AAD50CE, this acoustic-electric guitar can take it. What’s more, the AAD50CE’s sapele back and sides give you a consistent, balanced sound with an extra helping of treble zing. The AAD50CE also boasts X-M bracing, which adds clarity to its low end, crispiness to its high end, and an ear-grabbing warmth to its midrange.
Dreadnought body provides plenty of acoustic projection
The dreadnought body shape, like the Ibanez AAD50CE’s, has been one of the most popular acoustic guitar body styles ever since it hit the guitar-playing world. Why? Because back in the day, guitarists had to rely solely on the natural projection of their instruments, and the dreadnought body style provided plenty of sound-slinging power. Even these days, with PA systems easily at hand, you’ll love the clarity and punch of your AAD50CE every time you pick it up. Beyond that, this acoustic-electric dreadnought includes a convenient access cutaway, putting the instrument’s upper frets easily within your reach.
Onboard electronics dial in perfect live sound
The AAD50CE’s built-in Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp and T-bar under-saddle pickup give you the power and tone you need onstage and in the studio. The AEQ-TP2 active preamp gives you bass, treble, and volume controls to dial in a great tone fast.
